1. Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of completecarloans.com and its subdomains (the “Site”), operated by Complete Car Loans (“Complete Car Loans,” “we,” “us,” “our”). By accessing or otherwise using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not accept all of these Terms, you must stop using the Site.

Any person or entity that interacts with the Site through crawlers, robots, browsers, data mining or extraction tools, or other automated functionality — whether installed by that person or entity or by a third party — is considered to be using the Site.

Certain areas of the Site may be governed by additional terms (“Additional Terms”). By using those areas, you agree to the Additional Terms, which are incorporated into these Terms.

2. What Complete Car Loans is — and is not

Complete Car Loans operates a lead generation and matching service. We connect consumers seeking vehicle financing with third-party dealers, lenders, and financing partners.

We are not:

  • a lender, and we do not make loans;
  • a dealer, and we do not sell vehicles;
  • a broker or agent acting for you or for any lender;
  • a credit repair organization. We do not repair, fix, or improve credit, and we do not offer credit repair services.

We do not make credit decisions. We do not approve or deny applications, set rates, set terms, or control any dealer’s or lender’s decision. All financing decisions are made solely by the third parties you are matched with, using their own criteria.

Nothing on the Site is financial, legal, tax, or credit-repair advice.

3. No guarantee of approval or terms

We do not guarantee that you will be approved for financing, that you will be matched with any dealer or lender, or that you will be offered any particular rate, term, down payment, or vehicle. Any figures shown on the Site are illustrative only and do not constitute an offer, a pre-approval, or a commitment to lend.

Actual terms depend on your credit history, income, the vehicle, the lender, and other factors outside our control.

4. How we are paid

We are compensated by the dealers, lenders, and partners we refer you to. Our service is free to you and we charge consumers no fee. Compensation may vary by partner, and that may influence which partners you are matched with and the order in which they appear.

5. Eligibility

To use the Site and submit an application, you must be at least 18 years old, a legal resident of the United States, and legally able to enter into contracts. The Site is intended for personal, family, or household purposes.

6. Your responsibilities

You agree to provide information that is accurate, current, and complete, and to provide information only about yourself. Submitting false information, or another person’s information without their authorization, may violate federal and state law.

7. Consent to be contacted

When you submit a form, you consent to be contacted by us and our partners, including by automatic telephone dialing system, artificial or prerecorded voice, and text message, at the number you provide. Consent is not a condition of purchase or of receiving any services or financing. Full terms, and how to revoke consent, are described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Credit inquiries

The initial steps of the application use a soft credit inquiry, which does not affect your credit score. A hard credit inquiry may be performed after final submission. Dealers and lenders you are matched with may also perform their own inquiries. Hard inquiries can lower your credit score.

9. Third parties are independent

Dealers, lenders, and partners are independent third parties. We do not control and are not responsible for their conduct, products, terms, privacy practices, or compliance with law. Your dealings with them are solely between you and them.

10. Content and intellectual property

All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, images, audio, video, data, and software (collectively, “Content”) — is owned by or licensed to Complete Car Loans and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other proprietary rights. The selection, arrangement, and assembly of all Content on the Site is the exclusive property of Complete Car Loans and is protected by United States copyright law.

Trademarks, service marks, and logos appearing on the Site are the property of Complete Car Loans or their respective owners. Nothing on the Site grants any license or right to use any mark without the owner’s written permission.

11. License and permitted access

Complete Car Loans grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Site and its Content for your personal, non-commercial purposes only, and only to the extent such use does not violate these Terms, including the prohibitions in Section 12.

12. Prohibited uses

The Site may only be used for lawful purposes. As a condition of your use, you warrant that you will not use the Site for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms. Whether on your own behalf or on behalf of a third party, you may not:

  • make any commercial use of the Site or its Content;
  • download, copy, or transmit any Content for the benefit of any other business;
  • use any engine, software, tool, agent, or other mechanism (including spiders, robots, or automated agents) to navigate or search the Site, other than generally available browsers and search engines operating in accordance with our robots.txt;
  • frame, mirror, or use framing techniques on any part of the Site without our express prior written consent;
  • use data extraction, scraping, or mining tools, or create a database by systematically downloading or storing Site Content, except as permitted by the limited license in Section 11;
  • misrepresent your identity, impersonate any person or entity, misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity, or state or imply that we endorse any statement you make;
  • harvest or collect personal information about other users of the Site;
  • reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or otherwise exploit the Site or access to it for any commercial purpose;
  • modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the Site;
  • remove any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notice from the Site or from materials originating on the Site;
  • introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system or account;
  • interfere with or disrupt the Site, its servers, or its networks, including by placing an unreasonable load on our infrastructure.

13. Third-party links and information

The Site provides links and access to third-party websites and services as a convenience. Complete Car Loans does not regularly monitor and does not assume responsibility for the content of third parties’ statements or websites. We do not endorse or adopt those websites or any information they contain, and we make no representations or warranties regarding their accuracy or completeness.

14. Feedback and submissions

If you send us feedback, suggestions, or other materials about the Site, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute them for any purpose, without compensation or attribution to you. This section does not apply to the personal information you submit through an application, which is governed by our Privacy Policy.

15. Copyright complaints

If you believe Content on the Site infringes your copyright, send a notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act to our designated agent at [email protected], including: identification of the copyrighted work; identification of the material claimed to be infringing and its location; your contact information; a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on the owner’s behalf; and your physical or electronic signature.

16. Disclaimers

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT ANY INFORMATION ON IT IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR CURRENT.

17. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COMPLETE CAR LOANS AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE, WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER THEORY, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED $100

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

18. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Complete Car Loans and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

19. Dispute resolution and arbitration

Informal resolution first. Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at [email protected] and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 60 days.

Exceptions. Either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court, and either party may seek injunctive relief for infringement or misuse of intellectual property.

Class action waiver. Claims may be brought only on an individual basis, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective, or representative proceeding.

Your right to opt out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending written notice to [email protected] within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. Opting out will not affect any other part of these Terms.

20. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Subject to Section 19, you and Complete Car Loans consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts.

21. Changes to these Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes are effective when posted with a revised “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. 

22. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Sections 10, 14, and 16 through 20 survive termination.

23. General

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will stay in full force. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent; we may assign them freely. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any Additional Terms, are the entire agreement between you and Complete Car Loans regarding the Site.
