Apply
Apply for auto financing
This is a full application, not a quick quote. It asks for your Social Security number, and a hard credit inquiry may be performed after you submit. It is free, it does not commit you to anything, and your details go to dealers near you who work with your credit situation. Complete Car Loans is not a lender. We are a free matching service that connects shoppers with dealers in their area.
Before you start
Two things are worth knowing, because most sites in this industry leave them for you to discover partway through the form.
It asks for your Social Security number, and a hard credit inquiry may be performed after final submission. A hard inquiry typically costs a few points. That is normal for any real financing application — but it is a different thing from a soft-pull rate check, and you should know which one you are doing before you start.
Dealerships will contact you, not us. If you would rather not be called, do not submit the form. Reading this site puts you on no list at all.
If you are still researching rather than ready to buy, the guides here are the better use of your time. Start with how bad credit car loans actually work, or work out what a lender is likely to approve before you apply for anything.
Have these ready
The application goes faster, and the deal is far less likely to stall afterwards, if you have the documents a lender will ask for. Those are the stips: recent pay stubs, a utility bill in your name, proof of insurance, and references with working phone numbers. Assembling them in advance is the single most effective thing a subprime buyer can do to keep an approval from falling apart.
It also helps to know what rates look like at your credit tier before anyone quotes you one.
What we are, and what we are not
Complete Car Loans is not a lender. We are a free matching service that connects shoppers with dealers in their area. We do not approve, decline, price, or fund anything, and we cannot tell you what you will be approved for — only a lender can, after reviewing a real application. Anyone promising you an approval before that has happened is describing a marketing claim rather than a credit decision. Our how we make money page explains the arrangement in full.
